A Lynchburg native and graduate of Virginia Tech, Dave built a successful career in the financial services industry building digital and social marketing programs for one of the world’s largest banks before taking the leap to leave corporate America and pursue his passion and tame his entrepreneurial spirit. Having a passion for craft beer and bringing people together, Dave set off to bring the best of the brewery scene to Lynchburg, VA in the hopes that bringing good people, beer and food together can create a new Lynchburg experience. He’s a lover of the great outdoors and slightly obsessed with music. Life is short. Get after it.

Chris Henderson

GENERAL MANAGER

A Lynchburg native and Radford alum, Chris has worked in restaurants practically his entire life having managed restaurants from Vail, Colorado to just down the road at The Neighbor’s Place. He has built a successful career in the industry and teamed up with Dave to debut Lynchburg’s newest establishment, The Water Dog. Hanging with his family in his spare time, you'll likely find Chris and his family planning the next festival to attend.

CANDACE VINSON

EXECUTIVE CHEF

A Virginia native, Candace has worked at various locations throughout both Lynchburg Virginia during her culinary career. Candace enjoys creating new twists on traditional items while using local vendors for the freshest ingredients possible. Food is her passion and the plate is her canvas. If she isn't cooking, she’s hanging with her son, Cylus and her husband, Greg.
